The bad guy is really bad, intolerable, and the good guys are so flawed it is painful. He also analyzes the healing techniques in the context of current psychological findings of his time, theosophy and religion. The photos are decent, but the book is terribly written, I'm afraid. Links are helpful too. The story took a turn early on that I didn't expect.

The second section talks about ideas in progress- where we need to assert the social change already happening around us and start finding the strategies for better implementation. Some captions are so generic that you glean more information from what is printed on the postcard than from the caption. It definitely would have been more realistic given a longer timeline in between those events happening in the lives of those within the same community. But I bought this book for myself as an adult reader and found myself caught up in the story as completely as any child reader.
