Author Laura Fahrenthold lost her husband Mark about 6 months after I lost the love of my life so I can completely empathize with her struggles with grief and loneliness. There seem to be millions of them, and they are smart. It contains brief accounts of the history of the city's churches, influences which acted upon them through time and immigration, and the origin of sometimes curious donations made by families, temples which serve particular communities or which have been witness to, or refuges from, important events.
