The instructions are reasonably clear, the finished products are professional in their craftsmanship and appearance, the supplies required are basic, and the fabrics pictured are classic looks that are relatively easy to approximate with any basic fabric store. Cons:- Slipcover is an opaque plastic, whit a modern look that I think doesn't complement the book. I agree with most other reviewers that this is a flimsy book, but I still found it entertaining enough to read all the way through, and I can't say that about every book I've purchased. Others have given more story details, so I’ll stick to the merits. The only positive about this book is that it is the original Baum story which is very fun to read. This work of fiction is the product of the author’s wild and fun imagination. And like Reid, I think she's matured significantly. Eye and heart opening stuff.
