The language was technical, but had a lot of great debatable topics inside. The book, The Night the White Deer Died, is written by three time Newbery award winner, Gary Paulsen. They juxtapose the traditional play on one side with modern translation on the other. unless you're a cynic or just too grumpy to connect with the light heartedness of it. it's even hard to read. There may be some readers who enjoy that type of novel, but it's not for me.
