So long as the reader understands that post processing images can involve many steps before one can be called an expert, and that the serious photographer will probably read many more books to learn how to create a great digital image, this book will serve as a good introduction to the use of Photoshop. Actually, several of the situations mentioned I have experienced in real life, and I think a lot of readers will relate. I swear there wasn't a single man in the book(s) who thought she deserved to know anything, let alone be party to a decision and she let this pattern ride. Before they know it the kids (including October's school friends, who don't know about the ghosts) are knee-deep in murder plots, car chases, and searching for clues. The book is well-written. Isolation becomes her new normal until she finds Channing Ashford. Christy is searching for a calling, to discover what she should do with her life. If you've ever watched Ed Harris' go/no-go sound off in Ron Howard's Apollo 13 and wondered just what all went into putting all those systems together, Baker is the guy who can tell you. I very much enjoyed this book with my 8 year old grandson.
